State Park Trail

If you're looking for outdoor adventure, Tennessee State Parks are loaded with options. Check out these four state parks in our corner!

Northwest Tennessee is home to Kentucky Lake, as part of the Tennessee River, and the largest natural lake in the state, Reelfoot Lake. With access to those bodies of water and more, these four Tennessee State Parks provide plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors.

Reelfoot Lake State Park

Reelfoot Lake State Park promises an unforgettable escape, whether you seek wildlife encounters, aquatic adventures, or simply a peaceful retreat in nature's embrace. So, pack your sense of wonder and get ready to create memories that will last a lifetime!

Wildlife enthusiasts can glide through the cypress swamps by canoe or kayak, spotting turtles, herons, and maybe even a majestic bald eagle. Known as a birdwatcher's paradise, Reelfoot Lake is the perfect place to listen to the symphony of songbirds, spy on pelicans and owls, and of course, waterfowl.

When the weather warms up, cast your line for bass, crappie, and catfish in the cypress-lined lake. Sign up for a scenic pontoon boat tour, or one of the many activities the State Park hosts. Drop by the Reelfoot Lake Museum and connect with the rich history of the largest natural lake in the state.
