2025 Annual Membership Meeting
On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, the Northwest Tennessee Tourism Association hosted its Annual Membership Meeting at Blake’s at Southern Milling in Martin, TN. The event welcomed members, tourism partners, and community leaders from across the region for a time of reflection, connection, and forward planning.
Executive Director Kasey Muench presented the State of NWTTA, offering a comprehensive overview of the past year’s accomplishments — from the launch of signature programs like the NWTN Visitors Guide, 731 Eat Week, and the Cornerstone Tourism Awards, to expanded outreach, stronger partnerships, and a growing voice for tourism across the region.

NWTTA now proudly includes 55 members and partners — and continues to grow — representing businesses and communities across all nine Northwest Tennessee counties.
A key part of the meeting highlighted the continued economic impact of tourism. In 2023, the most recent year with available data, direct visitor spending in Northwest Tennessee exceeded $301 million, underscoring tourism’s powerful role as a regional economic driver. These dollars help support local jobs, generate tax revenue, and boost small businesses throughout our communities.
Following the meeting, attendees enjoyed a delicious lunch at Blake’s at Southern Milling — a warm and flavorful reminder of what makes Northwest Tennessee so special.
We’re incredibly thankful to everyone who continues to support our mission. Together, we’re creating something truly special in Northwest Tennessee — and we can’t wait to see where the road takes us next.
