NWTTA will host a free short-term rental workshop on June 13th in Tiptonville, TN.
The Northwest TN Tourism Association will host a free short-term rental workshop on June 13th for individuals interested, or who currently own/operate vacation rental properties throughout the region.
The program includes an opportunity for participants to learn more about vacation rental markets, laws and regulations, customer service, and proper cleaning guidelines, as well as how to get started with rentals and enhance current properties. The workshop will also offer a question-and-answer session with local short-term rental experts from the area, and an opportunity to hear from local tourism and hospitality-related entities.
Organized through a partnership with Northwest Tennessee Tourism Association and the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, the workshop will be led by the Northeast Tennessee Tourism Association after a series of successful programs dedicated to short-term rental development and education have been held throughout the state the last two years.
“Our workshops this past year were in high demand, and we’re excited to offer this series throughout Tennessee in different communities that have been noted for growth in the accommodations sector. We’ve conducted preliminary research, and both counties have a thriving short-term rental market due to their proximity to outdoor opportunities and urban landscapes,” Northeast Tennessee Tourism Association Executive Director Alicia Phelps said.
"Northwest Tennessee's unique short-term rentals are growing in numbers! Being close to stunning outdoor escapes and authentic local experiences, these rentals are a key driver of our region's tourism," said Kasey Muench, NWTTA Executive Director. "We're excited to partner with TDTD and NETA to provide owners and managers with the resources they can use to elevate their properties and create unforgettable stays for visitors."
