Dinosaur Hall
The large fossil reproductions of dinosaurs and marine reptiles that dominate Dino Hall, part of the Natural History Gallery, are all from the Mesozoic Era. The dinosaurs on display include Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus rex, Apatosaurus, and Appalachiosaurus.
Simmons Bank Children's Exploration Gallery
There are four main exhibit areas on the upper level next to the entrance to the 48' slide: the “Build It” exhibit, the sense stations, the water tables, and the perception wall. On the entry-level, at the bottom of the slide is the “Fantasy Forest Children’s Play Area.”
The Settlement
Featuring nearly a dozen structures, the little settlement on the North Lake includes farmhouses plus a corn crib, tool barn, smokehouse, hog barn, loom house, doctor’s cabin, well house, and woodshed.
Cooper Tower
Cooper Tower, named in honor of Barbara Lynn Tanner Cooper, reaches 199 feet into the air and is capped by an American Flag measuring over 40 feet long.
